Review of P.S. It's Always Been You Part 2 by Lauren Blakely
Hi guys, today we'll be continuing our discussion on the brand new Audible Original serial P.S. It's Always Been You by Lauren Blakely (Part 2). As usual, we start with a brief disclaimer. The views presented in this post are 100% my own and are not intended to sway you in any way against or towards any particular direction. This is simply my honest thoughts of the book. Now let’s dive into the actual review.
Indulge in the second installment in number-one New York Times best seller Lauren Blakely's sweeping, second chance romance!
I was pretty good at living without regrets until a way too close call during a skydive. Instead of my life flashing before my eyes, I saw one face, one regret that's been gnawing at me ever since - Presley. And now I know I have to win her back at any cost.
Fate steps in when we discover hidden stories from the past. And they're an opportunity I can't pass up. The just might be the path back to the woman I let get away while we chase down a love story a hundred years in the making.
P.S. It's Always Been You: Part 2 is the second installment in the P.S. It's Always Been You serial novel and should be enjoyed following P.S. It's Always Been You: Part 1. Presley and Hunter's story concludes in P.S. It's Always Been You: Part 3.
All installments are available for unlimited listening in Audible Escape!

Rating - 3 Stars
It's sad to say, but the second installment of P.S. It's Always Been You didn't wow me. The first installment last week was a good set up, and though it was slow-paced, it gave us hope for the story to go somewhere. Maybe I went into this second part with too many expectations, but it wasn't as entertaining for me as I'd hoped it would be.
I don't feel the love yet. It's painfully clear that they have a sexual connection, but I want more. I want to feel the love they keep talking about. I want to see them rebuild their relationship on the page so that when they say I'm still not over you, I believe it.
I know there's a third installment coming so, I hope we get all this in that one as so far it's just an okay read/listen for me. The narrators, once again, did a good job. Scott's tone is breathing life into my lungs.
I kid you not, this serial is technically written well, and I am sure many people will enjoy them. If I was to rate this as a literary fiction piece focusing on their journey through the treasure hunt as the main plot and the romance as only a subplot, then maybe my rating would be higher. But looking at it the other way around focusing on their relationship, I'm just not there yet. Book 3 for me will be the deciding factor if this serial for me will rise to a 4 star or drop to a 2.
